A US Army solder won big on the Georgia Lottery while on leave from Afghanistan. Gregg Curry, 47, who serves with the US Third Army, won $250,000 after buying a lottery ticket while out shopping with his wife. Curry was home for two weeks on leave and has now returned to Bagram Airbase, where he’s been stationed for seven months.  Georgia Lottery is part of the Powerball nationwide lottery, which you can play now at wintrillions.com.
